Greetings,
Currently, we can not deselect (and thereby disable) the ability of team members to use the POS for checkout functions. The entire Checkout section in privileges comes pre-selected and can’t be disabled. There are times when we want team members to be excluded from the ability to checkout, take payments, enter transactions, etc.
The toggle I am referencing is shown in the screen shot below.
