Is there a way to change the Register's WiFi (NOT ETHERNET) to a Static IP?

Is there a way to change the wifi (NOT ETHERNET) to a static IP?

For some reason whatever wifi network the register connects to, it gets 192.168.33.110.

The router's DHCP is in the 10.200.xxx.xxx range.

I have tried factory resetting the Register but it still got the same IP.

How can you fix this?

Transaction goes into offline mode.

After Factory reset, still got the same IP, but after the update it got to the correct IP.

Would be great if wifi on Register were able to assign a static IP just like the Ethernet is able to.

Thank you for your help!

IP Addresses are controlled by your Router - most people use DHCP whereas the Router assigns the IP Address to the device.   You also have the option to manually assign an IP Address to a device which takes a few extra steps in your Router configuration.   I believe the issue is with your Router, not the Register.   Devices come with a hard coded MAC Address but, not an IP Address - IP Addresses are assigned thru your Network which in this case is the Router.   As we don't have more details about your network setup, here's just a few things you can try.   To ensure that your Register is working correctly, try using a smart device (phone) hotspot - if the Register connects and works, that's great.  Now you know the Router is the problem.  Next you can simply turn the Router off, wait a few minutes and power back on.  Another option is a Factory Reset - you will have to set it up again.  Also check for Firmware Updates.  If leasing the Router is included with your internet service, your provider can troubleshoot remotely, reboot it and even update the Firmware.  These are all generic suggestions of course.

As was stated if you go into your router settings you can assign a static address there to any device.  I have done this with WiFi Printers, Cell phones, Tablets, Square Stands, and yes ethernet connected devices all from the Web interface on my main router.  You would need to look in to the directions on how to do this for your specific model of router, or contact your ISP if the router was given to you by them.  Now you know the Registers correct IP address, so in your router you should also see the MAC address of the Register on your routers web interface.

Since you state:

This to me sounds as the Register is connecting to an Open internet and not your own.  If your register connected to your own the address should be 10.200.xxx.xxx.

I would go through the Factory Reset and make sure when your setting up your WiFi connection that it is connecting to YOUR Wifi and not the random 192.169.xxx.xxx.  When Setting up your Wifi you should have had to Name your Wifi or your ISP just gave you a generic one, either way make sure your selecting Your WiFi according to what your router is brodcasting as the WiFi network.

I currently have about 5 WiFi networks by me, they all require a Password but if your located near someone that is brodcasting an open or 'Guest Network' with No password you mave connected to that one accidentally which is why your getting the random IP Address.  You can use your phone to scan WiFi networks to see if any are near you besides the one you setup.
