iOS screen timeout

The KDS keeps the screen live - can we have the standard POS work in the same way? 

It's easy enough to use guided access to keep the app on the screen, but for out main FoH station we frequently switch between the KDS and SPOS. If it's left on the SPOS then the iPad locks out.

Thanks for raising this request, it's definitely come up before and hopefully something we can offer on the Point of Sale app(s) soon. 

Have you tried changing the settings on your iPad so that the screen does not timeout? I know it's not ideal but it may work as a workaround for the time being. 

iPad > Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto Lock > Never. 

Let me know if that might help.

Thanks @Breffni - because I use the new stand I don't really want to change the global time out to never. When we close I just go back to the Home Screen and the iPad turns off after a few minutes. Would be a pain to have to take it out of the stand just to sleep the screen!
