It's exciting that Square has launched Tap to Pay for IPhones but I'd love to see this feature for Androids for all of us who don't use Iphones. Thank you.

Followed all the instructions on my Samsung Galaxy S21. Tap to pay is enabled in the app, yet when I click the charge button it still comes up with the message "Connect hardware or enable Tap to Pay to take card payments" so far, nice try but no cigar.
Excited to share that Tap to Pay for Android is now available in most countries and will be rolling out to sellers in CA and Japan very soon! The link above should include all the details on Tap to Pay for Android, including FAQ and updated support articles to help you get started.
