I think there are so many automated features that you could implement through square teams that could easily be tracked through the app so we do not have to manually track it. PTO for example- the employee submits and we approve then it pulls through to that pay period.
As of now - they can request time off and write what it is for (PTO, sick leave, etc.) but they can't actually designate it so it doesn't pull through to payroll. I have to have separate excel tracking sheets for all my staff whenever they take PTO and then I have to check their spreadsheets every time I run payroll to manually enter their PTO hours. Mileage and expense reimbursement should be another one!
