There is no easy way to view a report and/or export a CSV file of every employee’s PTO and/or Sick Pay balance. This information should be more accessible! Sometimes I want to look at a bunch of employees’ PTO quickly, and I currently have to click on each name, then scroll down to the PTO section of the very busy “Edit Team Member” page. This would be waaaay easier in a list.
Also, if it isn’t already, Payroll should really be tracking every change to every employee’s balances. So for every employee, I should be able to see a log of everything that happens to their PTO balance. Presumably there are three event types: hours accrued, hours used, or manual edit to balance. So if you make a log available it’d be a pretty simple table, where every line has a date, event type, amount changed, and new balance. This is important for avoiding errors. If someone makes a manual change, it’s good to know the history before it, and if an accrual schedule is wrong, there’d be a “paper trail” to show how the hours should be different.
