Wholesale

Please make a platform that is wholesale-focused. Or add the feature that you can have customers have different credentials. Wholesale and Retail. The "restricted area" protected by a code is not enough as anyone that looks up the name of your item can reach it without the code searching on the internet. There are so many awesome wholesale features wholesale websites can offer and we would love to have that with Square.

I would love to have the ability to offer wholesale through my current online store.  It seems like it should be fairly simple on the backend (but I'm not a programmer, just someone used to working with databases).

It would involve two prices "retail" and "wholesale".  Could potentially set up additional ranges for tiered structures, but I'm a simple person, 'retail' and 'wholesale' are enough for me.

I do not want to show the wholesale price to the retail customers.  So, a wholesale customer would need to have some sort of passcode in order to see the wholesale prices.

I would be looking for a minimum order.  If someone is going to order wholesale from me, then minimum order needs to be greater than or equal to X.

I would be looking to turn off the tax for any wholesale customer.

I would want to allow coupons to be toggled such that they can be used for just retail, just wholesale, or both.

i don't mind if it is a separate website (ie. mynamehere and mynameherewholesale).  However, they would need to draw off the same database, since the items are coming from the same warehouse.  If I sell out on the retail side, I would also sell out on the wholesale side, and vice versa.

Oh, and I want this no later than yesterday.  (LOL!)

For the short term, I can ask my order department to take wholesale orders via phone and invoice the customers.  But that is not an ideal long-term solution.  This is the digital world, people are just as likely to order at 3AM when the office is closed, as any other time of day.

Yes! I need a platform for wholesale sales and when I tried to set up a site with Square it pulled in all the retail products I have listed

@Ria thank you for the response. The vast majority of people already using squares website platform are doing it for retail. Few of us that need wholesale will want to use the retail site for wholesale like I am doing. The reason is, you have to look into many ways to make it work. It is like patch work. Looking constantly on ways to fix the issues that come up to make it work sort of like a wholesale website. It is really rough and it could be so much better. I really only do it because I use square for invoices and I like being able to have those 2 connected. I have caught many problems with our websites products just by making an invoice. But having a wholesale option for square would be amazing. I can talk for a long time on all the wholesale awesome features a great wholesale website could have if there is ever a forum for wholesale requests.

We sell direct at festivals using the Terminal, direct to consumer via Square Online, but we also sell wholesale to retail shops.  I would love to be able to have the wholesale accounts go through our square online in addition to the retail customers. Right now, I have to bill them separately through our accounting system.  We'd love to see this sort of additional functionality!

I also need a wholesale portal! Business has picked up a LOT and I have 2 wholesalers who want to work with me but the administration is awkward and comes across as unprofessional. I don't want to build another website, seamless integration in one place is an absolute must for me.

I'm in serious need of a wholesale portal! I've taken on some wholesale accounts and this would make life SO much easier and look more professional.

We're moving rapidly into wholesale as well. Having a wholesale portal would be ideal, but if it proves to be too much code, a plugin with Faire (already exists for ordering) would be a runner-up idea.
