Website dividers for page sections

Hi

I would have thought the ability to have the use of dividers on your pages was a basic function for a website ?

I have many different information pages with how to videos and custom colour options in special products we make and there isn't a way to separate each section as you do not have an option to add a divider!

Even on the main homepage there isn't a way to seperate the sections!

Having to use a text box and hide all the text then make the background a muted colour to add in-between the sections is a work around but its not ideal and doesn't really give a good impression or flow to a page as there really thick. (see inserted image)

But without them it just looks like a bunch of words all stuck together with images in-between. 

Please can we have the ability in website builder to insert a divider! 

Even when you go to add an image on a webpage and select the layout for a single image there all ginormous and take up half the page!

This is a great call out, I think your workaround is a good idea but can understand how having something built into our system would be much more beneficial and less laborious. 

Thank you for your detailed request as always, it's really helpful for our product teams. I looked around and haven't seen any updates on this becoming a feature soon, but that doesn't mean it's not already in production. 

Any updates that I do have or see, I'll be sure to share here.

I’m a bit baffled as to why there isn’t any 😳 it’s a basic function across 95% of website providers. 

when you go into the email section to create your emails to customers who order there is the ability to add dividers in there? So why not on your own online website section.

Every section on a page just looks ugly and a mass of pictures and words without the use of dividing it up in to separate sections so the customer doesn’t get confused. 
I realise that not everything available will suit everyone’s business model and you’ll have to find workarounds here and there but to not have access to dividers 🤷🏼‍♀️
