I am uploading images directly from my computer (not Etsy or anywhere else). Thumbnails look great, but image photos are either: clear when they first appear, then after a couple of seconds, go blurry (weird), or blurry when they first appear, and really blurry when magnified. Is there some sort of filter being applied in the first case (clear then blurry)? Help, please!
HI, all images need to be 1:1 and then image ratio adjusted on Home Page, Shop All page and individual item page.
Hope this helps!

Hey @MDavisP,
I just heard from the Weebly team that they might be experiencing issues with blurry photos like this.
Engineering is currently working on a fix so if you've already done the steps that @Goldneye listed above and you're experiencing that- it's being worked on right now.
Not sure if this would fix it either but another seller @gymratsinc just posted this on a different thread about blurry images that I thought I'd share:
Hey there, @Mychooo
Welcome to the Community.
I have moved your post to a thread where other sellers experienced blurry photos and were able to get it resolved. Take a look at the Best Answer to give them a try.
If that doesn't do the trick, please let me know. I am happy to circle back!
Hello Kassi_,
Thank you for the information! Unfortunately this did not remedy my situation...
I am only using Weebly as a portfolio, so there are no shops on my site; it is simply a body of work for my photography. Each image is a different size (some landscape (vertical), some portrait (horizontal)), and on the Weebly site editor, I added a "Gallery" from the toolbar, and have 40 of my pictures in the gallery. However, when I click on the gallery to edit the images, my only options are, "Advanced - Image Ratio - None, Square or Rectangle." Choosing any of those three options does not change the quality of my images back to their clear original sharpness, and I don't know what to do! The images are clear on my computer, but blur when I upload them to Weebly.
Thanks!
Ah okay, @Mychooo.
A good rule of thumb is to use an image with a 1:1 aspect ratio that’s at least 2,000x2,000 pixels large. Anything lower than 2,000x2,000 could result in blurry images you're seeing.
Do your pictures meet that criteria?
