Make pickup time easier for customers to change at checkout

About 40% of the time, my customers cannot figure out how to change their pickup time at checkout. The current process requires them to click a tiny "Edit" button next to "How to Get It." It's very difficult to find.

This results in us receiving an order for example for our Valentine's Day Cheese Boards (80% would like pickup on Feb. 14, but some like at different day/times) at the next available pickup time when they place the order. We then have to call the customer, confirm the time, and change it manually. This is a labor-intensive process and a poor customer experience.

Better would be a large drop down or button with a popup that makes it very clear how to change the time.

Hi @Callee1945I see how this feature could benefit you and your customers, and I am sorry to hear that this may have caused any inconveniences for you. I am not aware of an exact person to tag in regard to this, but with Ideate the more eyes we get on a post, the higher the chances for our product managers to make changes.

I so agree.  I have been using this system now for a couple of years, and most of my customers don't even know that a time has been chosen for them.  They show up whenever they want to.  It is a nightmare.  

This has also caused our guests confusion as well. Would love for the guest to have to confirm their date and delivery/pickup time before jumping into their order.

This is a frequent question/barrier for our customers.

 

Customers cannot find the edit button to change their pickup date and time.

Worse yet.  The time and date function on Square is so subtle and unnoticed that customers have been coming in to the store at any time of day looking for their order and angry because it isn't available.  Square has got to fix this problem because it is PERVASIVE.  Come on, guys, we've been asking for this now for TWO YEARS.  I, personally, have been holding off expanding into other Square products because of their slowness at correcting this problem, and because I don't want to get too far wrapped up with Square if I have to find another system.
