I’d love to be able to send a Welcome email automatically when people first sign up for the email newsletter, not only a welcome when they make their first purchase.
This is a feature I would like as well. There was another thread that had a lot of requests for this feature. Right now I have to use another email marketing company to collect emails and send a welcome email to with an offer. It would be great to be able to do this with square marketing only.
Right now, I am collecting emails through Podia because I have classes and digital downloads available on that site. When someone new signs up through podia, they get a welcome email and a digital download. Then I move their email over to square so that I can continue to market to them.
Good news! There is an automated option to send an email after a customer's first purchase. Here is the Support Article with more information on how to get these set up to send out to your customers.
Also, below is a screenshot of where you can find this on your Square Dashboard (Customers > Marketing > Automation)
@Kassi_ That was already available. We, many others were looking for a way to send a welcome email to people who signed up for our newsletter not after they make a purchase.
Please fix this, it isn't delivered!! These are people who haven't purchased yet but have visited our website and signed up for news. This is a great opportunity to reach out to these new customers, and confirms for them that the signup went through. Other platforms enable a whole email sequence when someone signs up for the list!! We collect emails and would love to be able to send them an automatic welcome, potentially a series of emails that tell our story, highlight our menu, etc.
