Multiple Rules for Loyalty Points

I would love for there to be a feature within Loyalty to provide various types of point-earning rules. I'd like it so I can have clients earn a different number of points depending on what action they perform. For example, I'd like an automated rule system so that I can have different point values automatically attached to an account.

 

If a client comes in, purchases product, and has a service performed, I would like them to be able to automatically receive 3 points for purchasing the product and 5 points for having a service performed. 

 

Can we make that happen??

I am looking for something similar. I have it set up where you can earn point for a category, but then you could redeem them for something outside that category because the lick don't accumulate in different pools. 

 

I would like to be able to have the ability to offer customers that buy items in "BEER" to receive a free item after so many points. But with out wine customers, I would like for them to receive one point for each bottle of wine and be able to redeem those points for specific discounts (10/20/30% off) of "WINE" only products. 

 

Ideally they would earn points within each "club" so to speak, based on what they bought and could redeem them for different rewards within each "club" and they could be apart of more than one, or you could turn off the ability to allow multiple club participation. 

 

The program works, but its limiting us from really being able to roll this out across the board in all of our different items. We cant just discount any item due to state liquor laws. So that is why we need the ability to have different loyalty buckets.  

I'm really hoping that Square Loyalty allows for selecting point amounts by category. It seems like a huge missed opportunity not allowing us to say double points for Category A this week for example.  It would really elevate the loyalty program and allow for discounting without really discounting. Currently I do a $1 = 1 point and 50 points = $5 off (So basically 10%), being able to say double or triple points on certain categories would let me push product and build excitement for the loyalty program.

This feature request is not currently planned, so I've updated the status. Please continue to have other Sellers comment on this thread about why this feature would be a great addition to our Loyalty program. When we have more information, a Community Moderator will update this status.
