An employee returned an item for $265 onto a gift card, she then checked to make sure the amount was on the gift card, and then cleared it without realizing the $265 was now gone for good. We contacted square and they said there is no way to reverse it. Having an alert if someone mistakenly clears a gift card with an amount over $2 or just an alert would have made her stop and think before wiping out a significant amount of money. Thank you!
