Feature Request: Assign Multiple Staff Members to Single Service

We are currently using deputy to roster staff but would love to use square teams and appointments plus. However, with our services (children's parties) we require two staff members. I have spoken with square support and this is currently not an option that they offer. The only work around we have found so far is to create a blank service that we would have to attach to each appointment to allow two staff members to see the appointment.

 

I would also love to hear some feedback on square teams and appointments plus, when rostering staff on, do they get the rostered services in their teams app? Also is there a way to see the entire business calender?

Square appointments allows you to assign team members to a service, to indicate that those team members can perform that service - e.g a hairdresser might assign a team member who is a colour specialist to their colouring services, or a barber to men's haircuts, for example. We don't have a way to specify that two team members are required to be available for a service to be bookable at the moment.  

 

You can see an overview of all your Staff's shift in your Dashboard under Staff > Shifts. In regards to the Team app, your staff would be able to see their shifts, but not services assigned to them during their shift via the Team app, but the Appointments app would show individual team member's services. From what I'm gathering, you'd ideally have team members see both their shifts, and upcoming appointments in the one app! Let us know a bit more about how you'd like to see this work ideally, so we can pass on some more detailed feedback to our Appointments, and Square Teams product teams.

Ideally, we would be able to assign two or more staff members to each & any appointment so that they could see all the information but not edit it. These staff members could also view all the appointments assigned to them and the other staff members on the same appointments. 

To manage staff, this would also need to be viewable from the owner's account.

I just sent a response to a similar question you asked in another thread here. But based on this question, it sounds like you were asking for a different feature than the answer I provided you with. 

To clarify, we don't have any updates yet regarding the ability to assign multiple staff members to a single service. I've updated the title of this feature request to ensure we can continue tracking it separately from the existing multiple staff member booking option, which currently limits one staff member per service. This adjustment should make it easier for other sellers seeking a similar feature to find and contribute to this thread. 

Once we have more updates to share about this, our Product Team will share an announcement via the Seller Community.
