Feature Request: Add Terms and Conditions Checkbox for Online Bookings

Feature Request: Add Terms and Conditions Checkbox for Online Bookings

I need help to add a check box 'I agree to the Terms and conditions' to square online website before my client click on the "Book an appointment" button.

I tried to use the check box button from "Contact Form", but I could not able to add the Square appointment link to the Submit button.

Is there embeded coded for "I Agree Checkbox"? or any other workaround?

Please help

Re: Need help to 'I agree to the Terms and conditions' to square online website

Hey, @lara5, just jumping in here for @Arie while they're out of the office.

You're completely right here, the pop-up is separate from your online booking flow. At this stage, the only other option we could recommend would be to send digital customer contracts with Square Appointments.

It's important to note that unless you are subscribed to Square Appointments Premium, you will need to manually send digital contracts via the Contracts page of your online Square Dashboard.

Have a read through the articles I've linked above and let us know if you have further questions here. In the meantime, we'll continue to forward the feedback we receive here directly on to our Product Team.

Hey @HAZ13,

Have you checked out the pop-ups section of Square Online? I'm not sure there's a tick box as such (I wasn't able to find one), but you should be able to have something similar in the form of a notification with a button a customer can click on to agree.

A tick box would be a handy option too though! I'll pass your feedback on to our product team as a feature request.

+1 I need this feature for Square Appointments!

Hi @LowdownBallroom,

Thanks for getting in touch! Welcome to the Seller Community 👋 😊

This feature request has been submitted to our product team for consideration. We'll be sure to share any updates on this feature here to notify you.

Have there been any updates on this?  I want to add a vote for this feature as well.  I host an annual event and my insurance carrier needs everyone to agree to a waiver and this would make it so much easier!

Hi @Ticketseller,

Thanks for writing in and adding your voice to this feature request. Have you considered Square Contracts? You can create a contract template and send it out to your customers in bulk. Get started here, and let us know if this workaround could be suitable for your business in the meantime.

I also need this so clients can tick to say they have read and understood our T&Cs before buying our made made jewellery

Thanks for adding your vote to this Feature Request, @lara5! We'll tag you in this thread if we have any updates to share.

Thanks Arie,

ive tried using the pop up feature as a work around but I can’t set it to come up before the pay. Only when they enter the site, when they have been on the site for a certain duration or when they exit which of course isnt suitable for asking if they have read and understood our terms and conditions before purchasing! Is there a better work around if you don’t have this feature? It’s a fairly standard website feature… Thanks

New Website builder here, and going slightly nuts!  how do I add a tick box for the customer to agree to the terms and conditions before/as part of the purchase of goods?

And why are there no templates guides/link for help on creating terms and conditions, privacy policies, refund policies etc on square, or perhaps im blind.  Would be greatful to be pointed in the right direction!
