MYOB Integration

Can you please update the cash in/out reporting in the POS app to be electronic?  It should be included in the automatic daily reports, and should also integrate with Xero/MYOB etc.

 

The current report requires manual entry of each transaction into your accounting software, which significantly increases the time for book keeping and auditing.

Which accounting software are you currently using? All sales, including sales recorded as cash, or other tender, are included in the daily reports we email to you. Please let us know if you've set up an integration between your accounting software, and Square, so we can look into which transactions should sync across automatically. Looking forward to hearing back from you 🙂 

Hi Arie, we use MYOB.  All of our cash sales are working fine.  I am referring to cash paid in and out of the cash drawer.  For example when one of our staff purchase something on our behalf we then reimburse them from the cash drawer using the Paid Out feature.  The transaction is shown on the cash drawer report, but not on the sales summary or the daily sales report.  I don't believe these transactions can be mapped to MYOB through Amaka,  but please let me know if I am missing something.

Thank you for clarifying, and apologies for the initial misunderstanding, @BurnieGC!

That's right, petty cash that has been paid in, or out of your drawer isn't currently something that would sync across to your MYOB - I'll pass this feedback on to our partnerships team, but would recommend reaching out to MYOB directly as well, to let them know that this is data you'd like to be able to sync automatically. The integration between Square, and MYOB, is built out by MYOB so their support team would be able to look into this further with you. 

Cash that has been paid in, or out of your drawer isn't included on daily sales emails, to avoid confusion between transactions and cash drawer adjustments. You can however get a separate drawer report email sent to you.
