Rewarding Top Customers- Holiday Gifting Done Smartly.

Something we started last year in 2024 is that we ran a smart marketing group and found our top 20 purchasers for the year (I actually did last 8 months).

Those customers will get a surprise gift in the mail with a hand written note from us telling them how much we appreciate them.

We use inventory we already have on to make these gifts and for a $20-30 investment per person, it does give quite a ROI.

(we have 21 customers that have spent over $3500 each in the past 8 months)

The easiest way I figured to do this was under customers-

customers > directory > + create group > smart group > top spenders > then put in your purchase details (time and total parameters).

I kept messing with it until I got 20 people 🙂

If I spent that much with a business over a period of time, and this showed up in the mail? The smile I would have for a month - Easy. It won't cost you much, but you will absolutely make their day and let them know that they mean something to you and your business. 🔥

I love this! Do you just pull address data from Square? I have some aging stock that I wouldn't mind killing two birds using this method! 🙂

That's a really great idea.  I think I might have to borrow that one!

One time I announced in my newsletter that I was going to randomly choose three customers to send them a set of gift tags featuring my new design. They didn't know I sent them to all my customers. Interestingly, it sparked a flurry of orders, so it was money very well spent.
