Our Square e-Commerce site is extremely slow. I have reached out to Square support a couple of times and am told I have to many items for sale in the store!! Please explain how a company that makes most of its revenue from credit card sales would a customers online shopping experience as enjoyable and easy to use. We have had many complaints about how slow our e-Commerce site is. It is also extremely slow and very frustrating for us to do any sort of editing to our Square site!

I'd certainly be interested to hear if you get an answer to this. I have a similar problem, with 500+ products on my website. Its very slow and we are consequently penalised by the Google SEO algorithms. I have gone through a whole process reloading all my photos in a size as small as possible (which has left a few looking a little blurry) as was told this was the issue, but the speed hasn't really improved.

Resizing pictures helped a bit. Splitting up the one long page into individual pages helped a bit. Seems to have gone back to being as slow as before I had done all that.
Also have the problem of the "thumbnails" selecting a weird portion of the photo, rather than shrinking it, and there's no way I've found to select which portion shows. Sometimes selecting different dimensions (square vs rectangular) helps-- but that can mess up everything else in the section. Wish there was a way to "edit" on the site when setting up a listing.
