Team reporting

My team members are not showing up when I’m in reporting and want to see all of their individual sales. It’s only showing my name (the owner) and everthing is going under my name. Even though each of them is signing in with their own passcode each transaction. 

how do i change this?

Hi @amberdiduch.. You are missing a critical piece of information in your query -- which report(s) are you specifically looking at?  Also, where are you running those reports -- your POS, the online dashboard, the Dashboard app?  Thanks.

I am looking at this on the online dashboard and I’m looking at sales for each category of products.

@amberdiduch Thank you.  That helps narrow things down.  So... I just brought up that report.  Of course, in its initial stage it just shows total by category.  I assume that you are clicking the "Display By" filter dropdown and selecting "Team Member (attributed to)" option?  When I did that, then it correctly showed sales closed by team member.  But it does not for you?

No it is only showing myself team member unattributed. That everthing has gone under my name even though each employee has logged in with their own passcode for each transaction.

@amberdiduch Ok.  I just wanted to be sure before I tagged the Community moderators here.  Hopefully they can look into this further with the team.  It is definitely NOT a reporting error, but rather it seems like an issue with your POS devices.  There are no settings I know of that allow for overriding the attribution.  The unattributed team member is used for all Square Online orders, and I think for Kiosk orders, too.  But, for orders closed on a POS, I can think of no good reason why those would not be attributed to the team member who is signed in when they are closed.

 

@Kassi_@RSosebee1@_Violet@MayaP@Summer2024@Summer2024@Ellie_@Katie_SQ@Laurie_@Sammie_Ccan any of you think of a reason that all tickets for @amberdiduch's business would be closing to their code if they team members are closing the transactions when signed into individual team codes?  I'm stumped.
