August and October deadlines for plan changes

Hi - I don't see a Board related to my question but here goes:  I have the option to either pick Square Plus or Square Premium by August 22 or defer changing my current plan until October 21, 2026.  The wording is:

Let us know before Aug 22 and you can stay on your current plans until Oct 21. After that, your account will automatically switch to Square Premium.

It does not say, decide which plan before October 21, so I want to make sure I will still have the option to pick Square Plus before Oct 21 if I choose to defer beyond the August deadline.  I would think so, but the wording is not clear.  Thanks for any help from a Square staff person on this!

@Office_Manager typically square doesn't lock you into any kind of plan, you can switch/cancel etc. at any time.  I think what it is saying is that unless you let them know by aug 22, you will automatically be enrolled in premium.  Otherwise, if you want to convert to plus on the 21st, you have to say so soon.
