The title of this post has been edited from the original: Square Point of Sale: Is there a way to reopen a closed check?
We use Square Register and Square POS on an iPad for our sometimes full service/sometimes counter service cafe. We often find ourselves having to refund a credit card transaction (due to either employee error or guest error) but still in need to remedy the payment. Often we run this as an open dollar amount via the keypad but this doesn't accurately track our inventory on the now refunded check. Reopening a closed check would be incredibly helpful and I thought once saw on the forum somewhere that there was a way to do it but we simply can not find it! Would love guidance/insight/assistance. Thanks!
