I'd like to identify customers who have visited during a specific timeframe. For example, though I can identify customers who have visited the most or spent the most at my shop, I can't currently identify them in a specific timeframe. I'd like more accurate information (# of visits, $ spent, etc) in the timeframe parameters I'm seeking. We have this ability with sales in reports but we don't have this option when researching customers. (If I'm wrong about that, please let me know.)

Your customer directory does allow you to see the most recent visit of a customer as well as how many visits by that same known customer.
Although I hear you want something more specific than just this information, could you tell me a bit more about how this report would look? Sortable by particular dates perhaps? What purpose does this serve that is really useful to your business?
Those kinds of questions make me able to send a compelling case to our teams.
