How do I set up appointments with staff working custom schedules?

Setting up staff in the Appointments app.  When setting custom staff schedules, we have some staff that work alternating weekends - for example, every other Saturday.  Is there a way to configure this ?

Hello!

Custom or weekly schedules aren’t currently available with Square Appointments. Once hours are set, they’ll apply to your calendar universally until they’re updated.

I can definitely see how this specific feature would help with appointment booking and employee scheduling, so I’ll be sure to pass the request along to our Product Team.

The best workaround that I can think of would be to have bookable hours around your regularly scheduled hours with a calendar event.

Perhaps a fellow Square Appointments user can chime in and share with you their own workaround that they use.

As a hairstyist I work different days of the week each week.  I can't see a way to customize the days of the week that I work that week. It's not always the same.  It's really making it difficult as I am stilll having to schedule people myself a lot of the time.

I only work every other Saturday and I am trying to figure out how to set that up without doing it manually.

This is a feature I can't seem to find in any scheduling program, unless i want to buy one for salons. I work every other Monday and Wednesday, and would love to have the feature for repeat options for staff scheduling like for client.

I went to look for any updates and there isn't anything I can access for you right now. Hopefully, EJ's suggested workaround helps for now. Please keep in touch for updates!
