Appointments: Can I switch between locations from the app?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Appt calendar on app can only see 1 store location

How do I view my 2 locations appointment calendar on my Square app on my phone or iPad when I open it up it brings me to only one location

@Luxe2017 Currently, to switch between locations in the Appointments app you'll need to sign out. When you sign back in you can select your second location to view that calendar. Mobile location switching is currently available for the Point of Sale app.

 

Keep in mind you can switch between locations without signing out from the Calendar section of your online Appointments Dashboard. The Dashboard is best viewed from a computer but you can also access it from the browser on in your iPad.

 

I'll share your interest in viewing both locations from the app with the Appointments team. Thank you!

Pleaseeeee make this available!  It would be amazing!!!  

This limitation is absolutely absurd. An update to be able to switch locations on mobile needs to happen sooner than later. It is crippling to have to switch between locations. 

 

An even better idea would be able to see ALL locations on one view, simply make them different colors. When I have clients trying to book and they are willing to go to either location it's a lot of messing around and note taking to try to find the soonest available appointment when I have to keep switching between calendars, and needing to sign into my laptop rather than being able to use my phone or ipad.  

 

Square is quickly falling behind the curve in this market.

Thanks for your feedback @privateeyes. I'm sorry that there isn't a better way to manage different locations at this time, it sounds like it would be an improvement for both you and your clients.

Has this gone away in APP version 5.4? I cannot find the switch locations option after following these instructions.

Hey @ShearPerfection - The instructions on the original post were incorrect. Currently, the only way to switch locations is to sign out and you'll be prompted to select a location upon sign in. In the meantime, I've merged your post with the feature request thread on this topic and we'll update it if there are any changes to this function in the future.

I can only view the calendar for one location on the app, but can"t switch to look at the other location calendar unless I log into the desktop.

Hey there @tc86! Although a bit clumsy, you'll need to sign out and sign back into your other location to see that calendar.

I am a esthetician with multiple locations, when using the app it only shows my 1st location/calendar and I don’t see a way to flip from one location to the next. 

Which means I have no way of seeing or more importantly checking out my clients when we are done. 

Can anyone help? I have searched the community and haven’t been able to find anyone with this exact problem...🥴

Glad to see your face in the Community. 

 

Looks like your question was already answered on this thread I moved you to. Right now, the only way to switch locations is to sign out manually, then back in to choose the other location.
