why cant costumers add items to shopping cart from mobile device

I just launched my site and went to test it if everything is running smoothly and when I try to add items to my shopping cart on my mobile device it tells me the cart is empty, but when I add the items from my computer it lets me? I don't know how to make the website secure on my mobile device could this be the issue? also my domain isn't transferred to the square yet its still on godaddy.com but I redirected the URL. Im not sure if because the mobile isn't secure or if im missing something to allow mobile orders? thank you

Hi @ninobread Thanks for posting, and welcome to the Community. Can you please let us know the name of your site so we can try to recreate the issue you are describing? 

 

How did you redirect your domain name? I believe Go Daddy provides an option to link the domain directly using an A-record and Cname, or they give you an option to forward the domain name. 

 

Forwarding the domain may prevent the SSL from working, so that's one thing to consider.

Hello @BernadetteA  thank you for replying, I didn’t transfer the domain name every time I attempt to it tells me I have to wait 60days.. 

Right now the SSL doesn’t work at all and I don’t see option to enable it at all.. 

ive upgraded to the professional site the 12$ a month subscription.. 

 

when I try to order my item through my mobile phone it won’t let me add the items to the shopping cart, I dont know what else to do

You should be able to set the site as your site address, and verify the Go Daddy domain name. Navigate to the Square Online Overview page and click Website > General Settings > Change Address.

 

Click the middle option that says Use a domain I own, then type in your domain name to connect. Per these instructions, the next screen should allow you to choose how to verify.  

 

If you see an error you can head over to your Go Daddy manager page to manually update your A-records to point to your Weebly website. You'll want to use the number: 199.34.228.164

 

DNS changes can take up to 24-48 hours to fully resolve, but usually update much quicker.
