how do I edit or delete a gift card? It has wrong contact info on it!

I made my e-gift card years ago, and now my website address and email address has changed.  There is no way to edit what I wrote on the e-gift card years ago.   Can anyone help?  I've been thru every thing and can't find any help.

When someone orders and pays for a square egift card from me, the e-gift certificate they receive is showing an old, inactive email address, and an old inactive website address.  There doesn't seem to be any way to change the gift certificate from the "configure" tab from my end.  So my second thought was to just delete the e-gift certificate that Square sends out, and start over again, but there seems to be no way to delete the gift certificate either. Hope that helps!

Thanks for explaining that for me. In this case if this was a gift card issued on old or previous square account you no longer use then, the best opportunity would be to generate a new gift certificate using "Other tender payment" as the payment method that way you are not charged a fee and your customer is able to get a new certificate. 

If you still want to go down the road of cancelling that eGift Card that is tied to the old account I would suggest you contact our Support team so they can help you gain access to this old account and you can clear the balance of this eGift Card.
