Will an Apple lightening to 30 pin adapter work to connect my old iPad 2 to Square accessories?

Will the Square stand work if I connect my old iPad 2 to a lightening to 30 pin adapter? The adapter does not support audio or video. Would a printer and cash drawer work?

If you are trying to put it into a new square stand that will not work.  Also, the iPad 2 is too old to have the correct Bluetooth technology to connect to the Contactless reader.  I don't think you would gain anything useful by adding that adapter as the only square accessory that uses the lightning port is the square stand.
