The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Square appointment app for Android...
When I try to set up an appointment it tells me "no appointment access" says I need to contact the account owner.
I am the account owner...I do not have any employees.
It's also stating I need to update the location?
Hello @StephR!
It sounds like you might have a second location that's been marked as inactive. I recommend signing onto your Square Dashboard and head over to the Appointments Tab.
On this tab you'll be able to select from the locations. If its on the inactive location you would see the no appointment access error message.
If you still need help, please feel free to @ mention me! 😀

@Chad @@ is there a way to delete the inactive location?
@Chad so yes I guess I have two locations...not sure why 🙄
How do I make the account or "location" that I've been using to check clients out and keep their formulas, active? I want to use that "location" to schedule appointments. It looks like when I go onto the app it's still not allowing me to schedule appointments. I don't want to switch locations...I want to use the location it's on but be able to schedule appointments. Does this make sense? 🤔
@Chad I think I've figured it out!!!! Thank you!
yes I need help with this same thing!!
Hi @shannonrieth,
Thanks for writing in and welcome to our community 👋 🙂
To reactivate a location:
1. Log in to your Square Dashboard.
2. Head to Account & Settings > Business > Locations.
3. From the drop down on top, select Status > Inactive or All.

4. From here you'll be able to reactivate your location(s).
Please let us know how you go!
