Is there a way to see what the confirmation text and reminder text currently look like? I want to make sure that my name isn't on them, that it just says they are booking with the business.
@erinbrigid Text messages look a bit different! This is an example of a confirmed appointment text message:
When your customer/client clicks on the link from the text message a new window will open in their web browser showing more details, like this:
Hey @erinbrigid!
You can view and edit all of your default messaging settings within the Communications tab of your Appointments dashboard.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
I saw that I can edit, but I'm looking to see what it currenty says, so I know what people are actually receiving right now. Is that listed anywhere?
@erinbrigid The emails that are sent to confirm a new appointment or to confirm updates to existing appointments all have a simliar format like the screenshot below:
(Note in the example above I set the customer's name to 'Customer' - but in your emails it will actually include a customer's name, e.g. 'Hello Jane'.)
A couple of things to note!
A reminder email will have all of the same information but the subject/heading will say 'Your appointment is coming up!'
I agree it would be handy to be able to preview each email from your Dashboard and I'll share that request with the Appointments team. Thanks for highlighting this!
Is it the same for the text messages? I don't have a ton of people getting the emails right now. We're a text heavy business lol

Oh awesome I just needed to make sure that it only lists my businesses name, and not my name. I have an employee, but we don't book indiviually, we book as a team and I don't want people thinking I'm the only one working!
Ah I see @erinbrigid! When a client clicks on the link from a text message it does include When, Where, What and With (Staff Name), but the message itself only says the business name.
Here's what the lower part of the confirmation looks like (after your client clicks the link)!
I wanted to know the same thing so I added myself as a customer, and made an appointment. Then just cancelled the appointment
Thats a good workaround for this, @PeaceLovePaws! Thanks for dropping this in. We appreciate it!
Help! My clients are getting appointment reminders that say I will call them--they have mistaken this to mean that I am doing a phone appointment vs. an in person appointment which is not the case. Or, they think that if I don't call that means appointment is cancelled. I did not set this up this way and although I have gone to appointments settings and scoured all the text for appointment reminders, there is no place where I can edit or even see where it is. Please clarify how I can get this feature off of my appointment reminders. Thanks
@queencitypelvic - Yikes, super frustrating.
Since you've already combed through your settings with no luck, reach out to our Appointments Team - we don't have access to your settings to pinpoint the problem.
when I send the appointment confirmation the customer can't see the services and the total price
Hi @hecalexco and welcome to the Community.
I moved your post to a thread where this question has been answered already.
Check out the Best Answer above for details.
Appointment text confirmations won't show the service/price in the text but there's a link in the text (shown above in best answer) where they can click and view more details.
In the future, don't hesitate to search your question first here or on the Support Center for your quickest answer too!
Hi, I don't see the answer to how we can display the service/price (and total price) in the email confirmation to the customer. How can we do this? Thanks
@Mobileautoshine You can view the best answer here. It's a little high in the thread, so I can see how you may have missed it. When customers click on the blue link at the bottom of their confirmation text, it will take them to the appointment's detail screen. For reference, it's Helen's post.
I hope this helps, but of course let me know if you have any other questions. 🙂
Hi AshleyK. Thanks for your response. I'm aware of the the link either from the txt message or in the email (View Details) but what I'm saying is it doesn't show the pricing, only the Service. It's what @hecalexco has also pointed out above.
How do we get the customer to see the service they booked AND the pricing? It's like any other ordering system online where as a consumer I know what I ordered, the cost, and ETA of the service delivery. Thanks
@Mobileautoshine I'm so sorry for misunderstanding that! To get the price of the appointment included would be a feature request, unfortunately. I've surfaced this to our development team and your feedback specifically has been brought to their attention. I won't have a timeline for when this is available, but I will continue to post and share feedback from this channel.
