Unable to move grid items

I am trying to rearrange my grid for one location. Each time I move the buttons around and tap "done" the buttons return to their previous positions. Is there a trick to this?

@Tom_Herman Set Up Your Item Grid on a Tablet
Build your Item Grid to quickly access frequently used items, discounts, or categories. To do so:
Select a numbered item page from your navigation bar.
Tap and hold any empty square.
Tap any + icon on the grid.
Add an item, category, or discount to the page.
Tap Done Editing to save.

If you’re using an Android tablet you can customize the appearance of your Items Grid:
Tap the three horizontal lines in the navigation bar.
Tap Settings > Item Appearance.
Select your display preference. Choose between image or text tiles.
Tap Save.

I have already set up my register pages. Now I want to rearrange the the squares to different places on the screen. Once I do this, I press "Done Editing", and the screen reverts back to the way it was before I changed it. I am not able to rearrange my screen.

@Tom_Herman - Sorry to hear about the trouble! I just tested this out on my iPad, and I wasn't able to replicate the same issue. Have you tried checking for software updates? Have you tried closing out of the app, and the reopening it? Also, it might be worth signing in/out again. Let me know if that doesn't do the trick and I'll try to think of some more things you can try.

I am having this exact problem on iOS.  Sometimes reordering an item on the grid will take, but most of the time, the item slots back into its original location.  The same happens when trying to delete items from the grid.

I found a workaround, but not necessarily a solution.  If you drag and drop the item to an additional page, it seems like you can delete/reorder them.  Essentially, the extra page is a staging area or a discard pile. I can't imagine this is the intended function, but it seems to work.

I am using the new register and having the same wonky problem. I restarted the system and tried again ... no luck. Attached is a video of the problem.

    Any solution available?

I tried to remove a tile from the grid and reinsert the same tile back onto the grid. Unfortunately, when I click DONE, the inserted tile disappears! OMG ... I am extremely exhausted.

    Oh no, @WBinc

I can recommend checking to make sure that your mobile device itself is up-to-date. If everything looks good there but the problems persist, you'll want to reach out.
