Time blocks for hour appointments at specific times
I set up my availablitly for hour time blocks with half hours blocked out in between. In doing test appointments, I am still able to book before my "open hours" and during these half hour blocked out times. How do I make it so that appointments can only be booked during the specific blocks I have set up. I don't want to have to approve every appointment.
Example: I have set up my schedule to be "available" 10::00 to 1130 11:30 to 1:00 1:00 to 2:30 etc. (hour appointment time with 30 minutes before next client) It is still allowing me to book before my 10:00 start time and during the half hour that is included in each appointment time block.

Hey @mommasway!
Thanks for posting in the Seller Community ✨
It sounds like you've blocked off certain hours, but I want to make sure that you've set your location's open hours of operations. Under Location and Hours, what do you see?
Let me know so I can look into this further 👀

I had put in specific blocks of time 1030-1200 12-130 130-3 etc. I was hoping by doing this I could make only specific times available for appointments to make sure people were only booking in those slots to maximize my time.

So I changed my business hours to 10:30 -7pm and put personal appointment (time block holds) for a half hour after each appointment. That is supposed to keep people from booking during those blocks. When I go to look at the appointment book it is still allowing me to choose time slots during that block

@mommasway Thanks for describing this! I think you may benefit more from blocking out extra time on your services rather than placing personal events on your calendar between appointments.
When creating a service, you’re able to block extra time between appointments to allow for cleanup, transitioning, travel, etc. This will prevent clients from booking appointments during this time.
Block time is enabled in the service settings, and can be adjusted or disabled on a per-appointment basis from the appointment details.
Any block time enabled for a service is added to the service duration. For example, a 1 hour service with 10 minutes of block time creates a 70 minute slot.

@Daniellebutler have you had a chance to contact Square Appointments Support for this? If it's a bug then we will need to get engineering involved.
