I am trying to implement Time Based Category - only making my Brunch menu available on particular times and days.
I have looked up the information on the Help Articles - so it seems that it can be done - but I do not see a scheduling option as indicated.
Is it an advanced/paid feature only? Am I missing something?

Is this something that can be done on an item basis, or only for a whole store? We're trying to find the best options for limiting Item availability with pre-ordering. I've been following a thread with @joe and @JustinC but it's not exactly what we need.
We need to be in control of the scheduling, and limiting, not the customer.
Where can I find instructions on this?

This article goes over how to set up hours for orders, how to edit pickup timing and settings, edit our advanced settings, and the checkout experience. It looks like that article is specifically for store settings, but within our store we'd like to have specific items available only on specific days. Are there instructions for that somewhere?

At this time, we do not have a feature that allows you to limit a specific item's availability by day. Only prep time can be specified:

Why were time based categories rolled out as a feature and now they are being charged for as part of the Plus plan?
seems Square is going the “everything is an upgrade” now.
That is going to either drive people away from these fringe features or drive their costs high enough they start shopping for alternative pos systems.
I turned off time based menu and added more prep time for online orders and shortened my pick up hours to accommodate for my hand made kitchen items.
Way to make it more inconvenient for the customer square. Seems to make no sense.
