Was just wondering if any of you guys have a tax ID number in order to receive deposits
Typically your tax ID number is your personal SSN (for DBA's and sole proprietorships), unless you actually have a registered business, partnership or corporation.
@Diyguys A Federal Tax Identification Number is used to identify a business entity.
Generally, businesses need an EIN for tax reporting purposes, however you do not need this information to receive deposits from Square.
