Square Retail: Inputting large amount of inventory and printing labels

New to square retail and have a couple issues I have ran into and want to know how everyone else is handling them and if there are simpler ways.

1) I have thousands of SKU I am putting in and the Import with CVS file has been great but even though I have a column as Tax yes I am having to go through eahc product and click yes which takes a ton of time.  Am I do ing something wrong?

2) Barcode label printer - Have to go through and type each sku or product descritpion to print a label.  Should have click option to make this a lot faster.  I have spent countless hours doing this.  Any suggestions to make this faster.

3) Ability to edit labels.  Can you put your business name or any customization to the product labels

@BelowRetail I'd like to know more about the issues you're having setting up your barcodes. When you say you have to type each SKU and description, are you talking about creating SKUs for your items? We've heard from other sellers that you'd like to have us generate SKUs for your new items automatically. Is that what you're looking for or something else? One tip, if you are creating SKUs in a spreadsheet for import, is that you can use spreadsheet formulas to define SKUs for you. Other sellers may have suggestions on particular formulas you can use, or I can provide an example if that would be helpful.

Thanks also for the feedback about label customization. That feature is very new still and we'll definitely take that into account as we continue to refine it.

AGREED. We use Square in a brick and mortar retail clothing shop. 

It takes way too long to create new SKUs as well as print labels for them.

Inventory is currently organized by CATEGORY (vendor), then ITEM (clothing style), and then SKU (size, color). 

Depending on screen size, after selecting a few SKUs (let's say 5 for example), the line to input name/sku goes below view, and we have to manually scroll the screen down after every SKU. Is that normal?

It would be way more intuitive and faster to be able to check boxes on categories, items, and/or SKU in the ITEM LIBRARY, and print from there.

Is Square rolling out any new features for retailers who maintain large and diverse inventories?
