Square Payroll: Can you pay other LLCs as 1099 contractors?

With Square Payroll, can you pay other LLCs as 1099 contractors?

Hello @tyshake. Currently you wouldn't be able to do this because 1099 contractors cannot onboard to Square Payroll with an EIN at this time. To pay a contractor they must use an SSN.

Yes I would like to pay businesses with EINs as contractors.

I currently use Gusto and it supports that feature, but I have to subscribe to the entire payroll plan. So it's quite costly for a small business, but the only viable option right now.

It looks like Payable was a solid option, but they were bought by Stripe.
