Hey there! When I send out emails, they are being flagged as junk. The reason for this is my sender email shows up as a random email rather than the one associated with my account. For example, my email is [email protected], but in the email to senders it shows up as me[email protected]. Is there way to have the send of the email show up as my actual email and not the spam looking email?

			Hello @LCS2021,
Thanks for letting us know what's going on with your email. What kind of email is being sent? Is this a receipt email, text message email, or marketing email? Can you please provide us with more details?
We will be on the lookout for your reply.
I just sent out my first notification email through Square and took a look at the sender address. There is NO WAY that I would click a link on that jumbled mess of consonants and numbers because it SCREAMS scam/phishing. When it arrived in my own email shortly after I sent it, I even wondered how a scammer could duplicate my email through Square so quickly... Definitely not going to pay for it again if that is how the senders address shows up for my customers.

			Hey @Lootz,
At this time, there is no way to edit the email address name. We will be happy to send your feedback over to our product team.

Thank you.
New account and my test emails are also going to my junk folder, are there any dmarc or dns settings I can add to prevent this?

			Hey @KreativeRides,
Thanks for being a member of the Community.
Here's an article on How to Avoid Getting Your Email Sent to Spam.
Let me know if this article helps.
Doesn’t help, I am using the email templates in square, I haven’t modified them.
@KreativeRides, I have found no way to modify them so they do not appear "Spammy" and route directly to a junk folder. When I want to send an email, I go to the Square Dashboard>Customers>Directory and use the "Export Customers" function. You will then download the .csv file (excel) and can sort feature (A to Z) of excel on the "Email Address" column. I then copy the entries in that column into the "BCC" line of the email that I want to send. My emails then come from "[email protected]" to all my customers. I hope this helps you until Square can figure it out on their end.

So you don’t have any automated emails for purchases and cancellations etc…?
I would hate to have to manually email for every status of a order.
@KreativeRides Nope. I don't rely solely on the use of automated communications through Square. It is painful, but communication with my customers is important also so that they feel confident in their purchase and my store. Sorry that I couldn't help you more. Maybe someone from Square will drop in on this and provide a better option...
Thanks! I might have to look into another solution, communication with a customer is important to a business, obviously not to Square.
