Looking for help with how to set this up. Square POS is used for our disc golf club for purchases and inventory tracking. We offer members set discount prices on certain items. We want to continue to have an accurate inventory for re-ordering purposes in the future. Here is a few examples and what we need help with:
Basic Disc:
Normal, non-member price: Multiple models from $10-14 each
Member price for any basic disc: $10 each
Premium Disc:
Normal, non-member price: Multiple models from $15-20 each
Member price for any basic disc: $15 each
Mini Marker:
Normal, non-member price: $3 each
Member price for multiples: 2 for $5
Shirts:
Normal, non-member price: $15 each
Member prices: 2 for $25, 3 for $30
Adding variations is the key to your issue. You will need to add a variation to each item in your system. In your dashboard, click on items, then select the item you want to add a variation to. You can then add a different variation and price to the item. See the picture below. Hope this helps!
Thank you for the response, but unfortunately this does not allow us to track inventory properly. Here's why:
Example:
Item: Disc A
Variation 1: Basic $12
Variation 2: Premium $19
If I want to add a variation for member/non-member, it will throw off the inventory. I believe a better way to explain it, would be conditional discounts.
I'm sorry for the frustration @NWDC. If you haven't already take a look at the Best Answer to this thread about conditional discounts, we know this is a popular feature request. Another seller shared a workaround on page 3 and I hope that helps in the meantime!
