Send a request to save a new/replacement credit card

I have a membership-based business. Monthly tuition is charged reoccurring and automatically. My clients are often not in the building and need to conduct business via email, text, or invoices. Banks are constantly sending new credit cards to replace expired expiration dates, etc. Is there an easy way to simply request them to save a new card to file?  Yes, I have already saved a previous card to file. That process is no problem. Yes, I can send them the invoice which allows them to save a new card to file but that seems to be problematic without more information.

Hey @awa!

 

Currently, there isn't an easy way for the customer to be able to edit their card on file information themselves.

 

The only way to do this would be for you to remove the saved card on file and then replace it yourself with the new information. Or, like you mentioned, sending an invoice which would allow the customer to save a new card on file.

 

This is a really great suggestion, and one we've heard before- so we'll continue to surface this request with the appropriate Product Teams.
