Recurring payments for future dates
When I set up a recurring payment is there a way to set it to start in the future? Right now I go in and set it up for the day with the card on file, I want to be able to set this to charge in the future so I dont always have to physically be at my computer on that day.

Under 'Invoices' I went to' Recurring' then 'Create recurring series'. Under the 'Invoice details' section 'Frequency' should automatically be set to 'Recurring'.
Then under the 'Recurring schedule' section change 'Start' to your future date, set 'Repeat every' and 'End' as appropriate but make sure 'Each invoice due' is set to 'Upon receipt'. And 'Automatic payments' is checked to 'Allow automatic payments with card or bank on file'. Then under 'Payment options' section, change 'Payment methods on file' to the appropriate saved credit card. (I unchecked ACH bank transfer and Gift card for safe measure). And then 'Schedule'.
After scheduling, a message then appeared on the bottom left in a green popup:
'Recurring series #yourinvoicenumber created
The first invoice will be charged on August 24, 2021'
(I created this today, 23Aug to start tomorrow 24Aug).
Following these steps the card on file was not charged immediately.👉Will follow-up tomorrow to check if an 'opt-in' email was sent, if acceptance from 'opt-in' email is required to charge immediately, and confirm card on file was charged.

There is no "start" on invoice templates, nor is there an option to share it on a specific date, I am in need of both of those actions. Am I missing something?

Hey @Loveartgirl,
Welcome to the Community.
Are you selecting Invoices or Recurring series? (see image below)
When you Select Recurring series, you'll be able to see the 'Start' and select a specific date (see image below).
Please let me know if this helps.
