I am trying to set up my online store for customers to place orders for the holidays. I have them all set as pick up so customers can choose a date and time (but I do delivery for all of my orders and just instruct customers to place the delivery address in the notes). Currently, customers can only book 2 weeks in advance, but I need them to be able to book 2 months in advance. Am I missing where to change this? Or is this platform not capable of allowing more advanced booking?

So we are limited to two weeks when scheduling pickups in advance. Currently the only work around available, is having customers specify their pick up date. Buyers can send a note to the seller at the time of check out. Here they could set their preferred pick up date.
This is a good suggestion. I will make sure to pass along the feedback to our product team! If anything changes in the future I will make sure to update the thread. 😄

Our cafe would also like to edit "prep time" and set specific pick up dates/times available to customers for holiday orders.

Bumping this thread. We need custom prep times AND custom pick up windows.
5 days prep is pretty much a minimum for our business, and we would like to allow pickup scheduling out to 2 months.

Chad, did you all ever update the 2 month out orders time frame for clients to be able to place Holiday orders? Currently my clients can only do 3-4 weeks out.

We do custom cookies, and they take some time to do... I'd like to have customers select a date in the future, any date say a minimum of 1 week from today. Is that possible? If I select Schedule for Pickup Later, it only gives me 5 days lead time, than the date selection only goes out a few weeks for the customer. I'm hoping to have orders placed a month or 2 out in some cases. Any ideas?

@ Helen Thanks, but since that work around is almost 3 years old, I don't hold alot of hope. Seems like it shoudl be a simple code to adjust.... extending Prep Time would just have to have options past 5 days, and wherever the coding is that calculates (todays date)+Prep Time+14 days would have to have that 14 set to a larger number....
Really hope this is something that can be done, love Square, but that may force us to move off the platform.

I am excited to see the new Weebly updated store with all of the pickup options. (Although I wish we had a warning the change was going to happen. My site was down for 3 days while I worked it out.) With the change, I am now in a predicament for pickup. I sell sweets for the holidays and have set dates/time windows for pickups (ie: the day before Thanksgiving). I am struggling to find a pickup option that works for me. In the past (on the the Square Store platform) I just created a modifier asking which pickup date/time window they wanted. I still have that option, but now the Weebly platform makes me set open hours (I am not a storefront, I only do custom orders) and choose a pickup option from those open hours. So I set a random 1 hour opening and had to make pickup instructions to say disregard and it will be ready on the date you selected. There has to be a better way. Could you possibly add an option that says something like "Seller will contact you when the product is ready."? This way, we can check it as "ready" on the back end and it will send them a message to pickup.

I just created a modifier with the date and time options. For example:
Thur 11/25 4-6PM
Fri 11/26 4-6PM
They chose which date they could make the pickup time and that was when I would have them ready.
Since the update, I have figured a way around having to post open hours and those specified pick up dates at checkout. Someone posted it in another thread. All of my items were listed as a physical item. I changed it to a service item and that made the checkout process where they didn't pick a time during your listed open hours.
Interestingly enough, I'm moving into a storefront in about a month and will be changing all these features around. HA!
