People Disputing After they Get Products

I am having issues with people taking advantage of disputing charges after they get their products and the bank always going in their favor, I have emails, and texts of them replying to approving the orders, and confirming their address and payment, even with that the bank goes their favor and I lose the products and they take the money out of my account too. What is the best practice for this to NOT happen? Right now I have an order they paid $325 the Shipping is different from the billing, and it looks just like the other orders they dispute, I haven't sent the items until I find out how to protect myself from losing the products again.

HI, unfortunately this is a part of doing business online.  Everyone has had or will have this situation.  There are so many fraud purchases it seems the credit card companies are just approving the dispute without regard to the seller.  Sending the purchased items or not, is up to you.  Not sending the items is bad business.  Sending the item and then receiving a dispute losing both the item and money is a gamble with every transaction.  95% of the online buyers are honest, it is the other 5% that make doing business harder than it needs to be.  Shipping different from billing is common as people are purchasing gifts or have moved etc.  It is hard to determine which transaction is valid or will turn into a dispute.  Unfortunately, there is no protection or service or app that will help.

They dispute?  Is the They the same person or same Credit Card that has been Disputed before?

 

As for Different Billing address then ship to address, I do this too.  Since I am at my business during regular deliver times I have stuff shipped to the business instead of my home address, plus some of my customers have 2 houses or ship items as gifts to others.  My biggest concern is that it sounds to me that it is the same customer trying this again since it worked the first time for them.

 

I have had a few people try to order products to find out they were scammers from over sees, and then I blocked those IP addresses, but my website is not connected with Square, I only use Square as the Credit Card processor on my site.

The amount and the why they don't want to reply on the phone. This is the second order this week, I shipped one and waiting for a little on this one, it was paid with the same card in both orders but a different name on the shipping. I will send the order today.
