Hi there, I have uploaded several images on my gallery and selected the grid, square crop option. The images uploaded are a mix of portrait and landscape format pics. I ticked the lightbox option but when I review the gallery and click on an image, the lightbox view does not display the image in full size. Instead it only displays an enlarged cropped and square version of my photo which looks very pixelated. At the moment the only solution I can think of is to select the stack gallery option but I find scrolling through multiple images is a bit tedious.
Any ideas are appreciated :).
HI, on Square's platform the images need to be resized to be 1:1 and image ratio and crop option to display correctly.

Hi, I was wondering if Square could look into this, as it's frustrating. I too have a gallery with a mixture of portrait and landscape images, and I don't want them to be cropped in the lightbox. When the gallery images are shown uncropped, could the lightbox image be shown to fit entirely within the screen, rather than the centre of the image being zoomed in full-width? Or is there another way around this?
Hi @pixelshrink I just wanted to share my input here, If you add a blank white backing to the image to fit the correct aspect ratio of the square crop and then put this in, the images will display as their full size rather than cropped!
Hope I could help : )
Thanks Matt, thanks for the tip. I'm not talking about a shop item, I'm talking about an image gallery, just images rather than items for sale.
Hmmm I’m not sure then… maybe @AdamB might have an idea?
I'm also having an issue with this. Kind of annoying that this thread is 2 years old and the issue still hasn't been addressed.
