Is there a way to change how a charge appears on my customer's statement?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Customer's Statement? 

My customer said the charge showed up as a "Service" on their monthly statement.  But, in fact I sold them a "product."

 

Is there a setting to change this??

This has nothing to do with Square.  It is their Bank or credit Card categorizing their purchases on the statement.

It is true that your customer's card issuer is making that decision, as @RHatch pointed out. But, they make this decision based on the Merchant Category Code (MCC) you selected when you signed up for Square. 🤓
