@BadPenny Somebody seems to have given you bad information, I’m sorry to say. The new Square Stands will accept swipe cards and swipe gift cards. Here’s a link to the Help Article for the new Stand, and I’ve included a screen shot of the section showing you how to insert a swipe card reader into your stand.
