Hello @bdaglass,

Welcome to the Seller Community.

When your customer receives an invoice from Square, it will appear within their email inbox with a link to a payment page. They can then enter their credit/debit card information as they normally would on all other payment sites when shopping online like Amazon, Ebay, or a major retailer.

  1. To pay a Square Invoice, begin by clicking Pay Invoice in the invoice notification email.
  2. Fill in all required info: Name on card, card number, expiration month and year, CVV, and billing zip code. You can also pay using Apple Pay on a compatible Mac computer, iPhone, or iPad.
  3. Click Submit.

Please let me know if you have any other questions by replying to this thread, or check out this support article for more info

My customer has a phone number and no email. I sent her an invoice via her phone number and she replied "Help". I haven't been able to connect with her to see what problem she has encountered but was wondering whether they (like those receiving an email) also receive a link that allows them to pay the invoice? If they do not receive the link, what should I do?

Hi there @CJB,

Thank you for reaching out about this. Were you able to hear from the customer about the issue occurring? If it is still occurring, can you please explain a little more about what happened?

It ultimately resolved. I think that she may have been having issues understanding the process on her side. Thank you!
