I'm trying to remove the Log In tab from my website. I've gone to Setting>Checkout>Advanced and unchecked the box that says something like, "Allow customers to create personal accounts," but the Log In tab is still there.
The website is https://www.sourceaudio.net/
In past threads it looks like somebody on the Square or Weebly staff had to go in and manually remove the Log In option.
Thanks for the help!
Hey @TheLuckyJackson and @Gold 👋
This is a glitch that happens to some sites built with the original Weebly editor. There's two places to check for the setting:
Your link was coming from the second option, and I have already removed it for you. Please make sure to publish the site again when you have the chance.

Hope this helps clear up any confusion. Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
Awesome - thank you sir!
Now I need to read more about the login as that is new to me -- could be useful if I can restrict page access to a registered user (that I approve) - not a casual person simply registering for the site.
Example: review contact information for a given location that only a designated login (or me/admin) can access.
Regards,
Martin
Here's one article in our support site should want to get started with that, @mkoechel:

Thanks - I can see Members tab in Settings now and this looks like a good way for me to manage inputs with specified members!
That's great! ![]()
Hello,
I am having the same issue with the Members section not appearing in my Settings and the # appearing in the URL.
Could the login tab be removed from this website also please?

Thank you.
I removed the login link for you, @BakedCupcake But I'm not sure if I can remove the #
Hi, would you mind fixing this for my site as well? It is
There is no "members" tab in settings. Thank you so much.
Grace Bertou
Not a problem, Grace. I've disabled the feature for you so it shouldn't show the login tab now.
Hi @Adam ,
Can you please explain how I can do this myself?
To fix this yourself, @SS-novascotia, you'd need to connect to a checkout provider in Setup > Checkout, then go to the advanced options on the same page and turn off the customer accounts option, then disconnect from the checkout provider.
Thanks for the reply! That option looks checked but we cannot uncheck it. Are you able to from your end? The domain is secondstory.ca.
This is what it looks like to me:
Thanks for the screenshot. I've disabled that from our end for you so the login tab should no longer be shown.
I disabled the feature for you, @SS-novascotia. Let me know if you are still seeing the login tab, though.
Hi.
Can you fix it for my website? There's no way to disable login from menu.
Thanks.
Thanks for reaching out. In order to disable customer accounts you will need to first enable the SSL from the Settings menu in the editor. Once it is enabled, you can turn off customer accounts by clicking Store>Settings>Checkout. I can also help you out, but need you to turn on the SSL first. Thanks!
I also have the Log in tab on my website www.awomanlikeher.com and have been going to the settings tab to try to find members, but do not see it. Can you help remove it please, it showed up out of nowhere.
Thank you
Thanks for posting about it, @MissTee. I've made a change on our end so that tab shouldn't show now.
Hi I've got the same problem too....however unable to remove the login tab from my website. The instructions given don't work for me, as there is no membership section under settings. Please help!
Which site did you need help with, @harwell11? I see three different sites you can edit, but I wasn't sure which one you need help with.
