The title of this post has been edited from the original: Deactivating shipping address feature
I’m a photographer and only deliver digital products. Can I deactivate the shipping info on the checkout page? I still want to have the ability for the client to input their email address to get a digital receipt.

It sounds like you may not have added these items as digital items, which is what you'll want to do if you won't be shipping or otherwise physically providing a product. This article from our Support Center will walk you through how to edit your existing items so that they're digital instead of physical. Once you've created a digital item, try adding it to your cart and checking out - the Secure Checkout page will look similar to what's shown below:

I have a restaurant and have people ordering with QR codes or online for pick up. These are the two options.
We have customers in the restaurant having problems paying with a credit card at check out and they get the message "incomplete shipping address"
Is there a way to completely turn off shipping for restaurants?

Hey @swansek,
Check out this thread for more info on removing shipping - you'll need to remove it as a fulfilment option on a per-item basis, however there is a bulk edit option for this so you won't need to do each item one by one 🙂

I am having a similar problem. I have set items for Square Online to "event" becuase I thought there would be no shipping options. But it is asking for shipping address at checkout and I don't see anywhere in the Edit Items to change fullfilment.

It might be worth checking your customer input settings in your Square Online Dashboard:
1. Log in to your Square Online Dashboard
2. Select Settings > Checkout.
3. Scroll to Checkout Experience and click on Edit Customer Inputs.
4. From there, check out which options are selected.
Keep in mind that the recipient address would be collected where required for tax purposes. Please let us know how you go!

Can someone help me figure out why mine is still asking for the shipping address? I have everything set to services, I have collect buyers address OFF on the dashboard and I don't collect tax? I don't ship anything.
Someone please help me turn off having the get the buyers address!!!!
I don't understand why this has to be so difficult.

I suggest double-checking to make sure that all your items are set to the Service item type @lonestar31. When you add services to the cart the checkout page should automatically disable the shipping address portion.
