I'm in my dashboard, but can't enable inventory tracking?

I've followed all protocol for enabling inventory tracking from my dashboard.  When I click on an item from my library in the dashboard, under the "inventory" section, there is no option to start tracking the inventory.  Did I miss a step?  Please help.  It's the only part of the business I haven't figured out yet 🙂  Thankyou!

Are you using Internet Explorer? I have found that my manage inventory section doesn't work properly unless I use Chrome.  This is what you should be seeing:

After clicking Manage Item Inventory you should get a pop up dialog box:

I am also having the problem of not seeing the Start Tracking Item Inventory option.  I am using Firefox.

@glennInn I would suggest trying a different browser such a Chrome. You can also try clearing you cache (Access the Help menu of your browser to locate step-by-step instructions) and you'll also want to make sure that your browser is up to date.

I am also having the problem of not seeing the Start Tracking Item Inventory option.  I am using Chome. I do not see inventory

@NUNU — any chance you're using our location management feature? If so, you'll first need to select a location from the item details and click the "Go" button.

Next, your page will refresh and you'll see the "Start Tracking Item Inventory" button after selecting an item.
