How do you set up the system to differentiate between beer sales and food sales?

We have a concessions stand and need to differentiate between food sales and alcohol sales. How do I do that?

Do you just need to separate them in your reporting? If so, you can create item Categories to do so. 

Additionally, if you have items assigned to categories and are using multiple printers, you can assign which categories get printed on separate printers.
