I TODAY'S eed to view signature for comparise. How do I do that?
from this link, https://squareup.com/dashboard/sales/transactions choose a date range, then choose the credit card transaction by clicking on it. that will bring up a pop-up then you can click on the receipt number to see a receipt with signature.

This reply was created from merging an existing thread: Is it possible to retrieve signatures from past transactions?
I have a transaction that occured last month that I believe was a combination of two payments to two seperate customers. If I could retreive the signature for that transaction, I can figure it out because I always put a note on the signature screen. Can anyone help?
yes, you can view signatures, if you have signatures enabled for your transactions, from past transactions here. https://squareup.com/dashboard/sales/transactions
once you click on the transaction you want you can click on it and a new window will open and you can then click on the receipt number to view the receipt with the signature.
Is this still an available feature because I can't seem to figure out how to turn on signatures for past transactions. When I open a receipt no signature shows though I know one would've been asked for during checkout.
Welcome to the Community, @icarebtown -
The feature is still available, but you wouldn't be able to add it to past transactions. Any transaction you've collected previously cannot be edited.
Are you looking to access signatures from past transactions?
I will keep an eye out for your reply👀.
thanks for this, I was wondering how to see signatures but when using the contactless payment (which most of my sales are) there is no signature required and I just thought Square had them in their system somewhere. Now after going through a few receipts and finding a Dipped CC sale over X, I could see the signature. Still learning new things everyday. 🙂
